Winter Wonderland: How To Make Your Own DIY Christmas Decorations

Contrary to popular belief you don’t have to spend a small fortune in order to transform your home into a cozy winter wonderland.
Fuss free DIY decorations that will turn your home into a winter wonderland:

If you have a large mirror in your hallway or lounge, you can add a bit of festive cheer to your mirror by using a washable paint marker to draw white snowflakes on a portion of your mirror. Which will make it look like it’s snowing in your home! Another way to utilize paint to transform your home into a winter wonderland is to use stencils to paint Christmas themed shapes such as Christmas trees onto a plain doormat. Alternatively, if you’re lucky enough to receive cardboard Christmas cards, why not display your cards on the wall, in the shape of a Christmas tree. Just use a small piece of blu-tack, which is a sticky putty, to place each card on the wall. As blue-tack won’t damage your walls like cello-tape would.
If you plan on inviting your friends and family over for Christmas parties, you may also be interested in creating a DIY center piece for your dining table. If your time is limited, simply fill a glass vase with an assortment of red and green candies and tie a red, silver, gold or green boy around your vase and viola, you have a unique center piece your whole family will love. If you use a tall enough vase, you can even hang candy canes around the top of your vase.
So if you assumed that you’d have to spend a small fortune, to decorate your home for the holidays, rest assured that you can decorate your home for Christmas for under $30. Which will leave you more money to spend on buying Christmas presents or attending pricey Christmas functions and parties.
