Britney Spears Gives Back To Children Battling With Cancer

Britney Spears opened the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation Campus in Las Vegas on Saturday 4th of November.

The goal of the NCC Foundation is to improve the quality of life for children & adults affected by cancer. It will provide more than 45 pediatric and adult services to patients in the community.

Britney said at the official opening that fundraising had started in 2014. She donated $ 1 million to make the opening possible. A large amount of the donation was from her “Piece of Me” show at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Before the launch, the 35-year-old singer said that this achievement was the one she was most proud of to date. She experienced the effects of cancer on victims and loved ones when her aunt lost her battle with cancer.

She said that her compassion is greater when it happens to young children. She added that being able to use her celebrity status to help children and their families brought tears to her eyes. NCCF CEO, Jeff Gordon said that it had long been a dream to house many of their different programs in one place.

Britney’s work and donation have made this possible. He expressed gratitude to Britney and described her as a special person who does care.
